Computing power alone doesn’t give anyone goosebumps. Technology reproduces what already exists, but it replaces neither taste nor intuition. At Ticcon, we don’t fear technological change, we use it. As curators and directors, we work with cutting-edge tools for maximum efficiency and invest the energy we gain in what truly matters: radically good ideas and films with character. Craft remains our foundation. We still shoot, build and animate ourselves, all the way to handmade CGI built from the ground up. For us, technology is a tool, not a replacement.
